Euton worked on downstream projects in his early career and started a contract in Aberdeen in 1996 working on upstream offshore oil and gas projects.

1989 - 1993 Learning the ropes and including secondments to Shell Stanlow and Sellafield.
1992 - 1993 Site Support to Shell Stanlow on safety projects for the Higher Olefins Plant.
1993 - 1995 a small chemical producer in Lancashire making inorganic chemicals.
1994 became a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers.
1995 - 1996 Process Manager (Technical Plant Manager) at Chemical Producer with a CIMAH site handling liquid Chlorine, Nitrotoluenes and Phosgene.
1996 formed a limited company and won a contract to work in Aberdeen for McDermott and AMEC on the Shell Northern ISC.
1996 - 1998 Contract working for McDermott Engineering Ltd. on the Shell Northern Engineering Services.
1998 - 2000 Contract working for AMEC Ltd. on the Shell Northern Integrated Services Contract.
1999 - 2000 Seafield House pass when working on the contract with AMEC
2000 Contract working for ICI at Runcorn
2001 Contract working for Halliburton KBR in Aberdeen
2002-2003 London experience on contract working for MW Kellogg at Greenford
2003 - 2004 Contract working for KBR at Runcorn on the BHP support.
2004 - 2006 Seconded to work in BHP Offices and asked to lead their Produced Water Projects and subsequently made a presentation to the DTI PW Working Group.
2006 Accepted a Field Development Engineer role with BHP.
2007 Accepted as a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers prior to presenting a paper on Produced Water Issues at the TUV NEL Produced Water Workshop.
2010 promoted to Lead Process Engineer and UK Technical Authority for BHP Billiton Petroleum.
2012 Back in Aberdeen in with ConocoPhillips working as Process Team Leader on the £3 billion Jasmine Project and on other development projects.
2013 A worn pass for the Jasmine Project office where Euton relocated for the Jasmine start-up that November.
2015 Appointed CoP UK Process Engineering Technical Authority in March that year following a stint in production delivery optimising Jasmine and J Area Production.
2018 Seconded to Spirit Energy's Barrow Terminal (the site of the CoP Rivers Terminal) to provide technical assistance to help re-start the plant after an 8 month shutdown for safety.
2019 returned to CoP in May as a Lead Process Engineer prior to it being sold to Chrysaor in October that year.
2021 Chrysaor bought Premier Oil with the enlarged group becoming Harbour Energy where Euton remained Lead Process Engineer.
2022 Second Iteration of the company following "semi-retirement" at 55.
